LiDestri upgrades its labeling capabilities
Streamlining the production processes involved, particularly for labeling and packaging, has boosted LiDestri Foods’ sales by 15 % since the new lines were installed. Optimized design for the functions of the four ultra-versatile labelers provides the requisite capabilities to ensure individualized dress for the client’s numerous sauce products. One important result continues to be simplified production, achieved by means of optimal workplace design and improved operator-friendliness.
- Four Solomodule labelers
The versatile Krones Solomodule labelers installed, rated respectively at 39,000 bph, 30,000 bph and 42,000 bph for a 24-oz reference bottle and 39,000 bph for the 16-0z reference bottle, are able to handle cold-glue, hotmelt and pressure-sensitive labels.
Thanks to quick coupling and decoupling of the labeling stations, change-overs between dress variants are a vital success-driving factor for this company, which runs its own brands, private label production batches and contract bottling jobs. - Checkmat inspection unit
The inspection unit integrated directly at the machine’s discharge uses a camera to verify that only containers with 100-%-accurate label positioning continue to travel down the line. So the client can be sure of eye-catching placement of coupons or flyers on his products. - Four Variopac TFS Tray packers
The Variopac packer ensures fast grouping and packing on trays. Thanks to flexible adjustable lane dividers, the various container formats and groupings involved can be dependably formed into visually perfect packs.
