Boulevard Brewing – Krones’ technology now in the bottling hall as well
By installing a high-performance brewhouse from Krones, Boulevard Brewing in Kansas City is laying the foundations for further growth and responding to the expanding demand for craft brewery products. In order to keep pace with the brewhouse’s production output, capital investment has also been channeled into the bottling line.
Bottling line for an output of 30,000 containers an hour
- Variojet rinser
Optimum filling conditions are created by the Variojet rinsing system, a single-channel model that rinses the bottles with cold water before they are filled. This not only removes the dust particles from the bottles, but also ensures that the beer flows smoothly as it enters them. - Mecafill VKPV filler
This electro-pneumatic filling system features short tubes and a vacuum channel, so that a vacuum can be generated in the bottles before they are filled, thus minimizing the beer’s oxygen pick-up. - Checkmat F-G inspection unit
The correct fill level is verified using gamma rays. - Topmatic labeler
With two stations for applying body and neck labels, plus a back label, in cold-glue mode, the brewery creates the perfect visual image for its products.
