Designer-Mechanical

Krones Inc. is seeking an energetic and committed engineer with an interest in mechanical construction and process control to work as a Mechanical Designer in our Engineering Department. You will be actively involved with the design, layout and detail of mechanisms and components from sketches or specifications. You will produce and check B.O.M.s and work orders for manufacturing.

Experience / Education

• Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of an Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with strong 3-D CAD (Solid Edge preferred) experience
• A minimum of three-year component/mechanism design or comparable education required
• Must have good knowledge of manufacturing practices, materials, finishes, geometric tolerances, mechanical drawing interpretation and the metric system.
• Must have a very high level of mechanical aptitude.
