Field Service Technicians

This position requires 100% travel. Locations are available throughout the USA. The Field Service Technician will perform service on all Krones equipment in customer plants including installation, repair, troubleshooting, overhaul and changeover to other bottle and label-handling equipment. Technician is responsible for professional, effective communication with customers and contractors.


Experience / Education requirements:

• You will work to install, repair, troubleshoot and overhaul a wide variety of our product line.
• Qualified applicants must possess a two-year degree in Applied Electrical/Mechanical Sciences or 3-5 years experience in packaging machinery maintenance. A solid mechanical background is essential.
• You must be able to operate basic machine shop equipment.
• Knowledge of the metric system is highly desirable.
• You should also have basic knowledge of AC/DC control circuits, the ability to read electrical schematics and use simple test equipment.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are essential.
• Travel is extensive including some international travel.
  

Overtime is involved as required to complete the job. Testing required.
