Optimisation of the PU Control for the Sander Hansen Tunnel Pasteurisers

Following improvements will be achieved:

• Extremely precise and dynamic control of PU units – also with third-party models – for all tunnel pasteurisers with accurately operating spraying system and continous flat conveyor.
• PC-supported PU control with Windows environment.
• With the multi-parameter control, several target parameters can be set directly at the same time, and the target parameters (e.g. PU values and time above temperature) can be defined by the operator. Also secondary target values can be monitored here.

• Basic module for PU control (for foreign models): 50,000 - 160,000 € 
• Upgrade of Sander Hansen PU controller incl. PLC upgrade:  50,000 - 75,000 € 
• Sander Hansen multi-parameter control: 60,000 - 170,000 € 

Pasteuriser performance

• Guarantee for pasteurisation units
  95 % of the containers are pasteurised with the set-point value or exceed it by max. 50%.  
  5% of the containers are above the set-point value, but max. twice the set-point value.  
  

The pre-requisite is that the machine operates at a nominal speed or that the production time is at least 75%, and that after each stop, produc tion is run for at least one minute.

Installation with minimum production loss
Only PU control: 7 - 10 days; PU control incl. PLC upgrade: 10 - 14 days PU control incl. PLC upgrade, as well as mechanical conversions of third- party models of the channel type: 14 - 21 days
