Plastic sleeves for mechanical filling valves

Plastic in place of stainless steel: retrofitting plastic sleeves to the filling valves of the Mecafill VK mechanical filling system will reduce wear and tear on the gas needles compared to the  stainless-steel gas sleeves previously used, thus ensuring higher availability levels and increased efficiency. This update will usually pay off in just over a year.
The retrofit work takes almost no time at all. The benefits are a significantly reduced spares requirement and a concomitantly minimized amount of work involved in part replacement. Wear on the gas needles is minimized, and on the switching levers it is eliminated altogether. The CIP sequence runs exceptionally smoothly with these sleeves. The modification is suitable for all filling systems of the Mecafill VK type manufactured between 1986 and 1999.
