Advanced HS Contiroll Labeler Training Offered at Krones, Inc.

Krones Academy is excited to offer comprehensive training programs for the HS Contiroll labeler at its North American Headquarters in Franklin, Wisconsin. Programs include operator, maintenance and electrical courses.
“In order to be competitive in today’s packaging market, line speeds, quality control standards and production demands need to increase to stay ahead of the competition,” said Frank Kaczmarski, training manager at Krones, Inc. “Our results-orientated, hands-on approach will benefit our customer’s operation by providing the knowledge and practical skills required to support the production goals of the HS Contiroll.”
In operator training, participants will learn safety, theory of operation, sanitation, container and label handling, operation of touch screens, changeover procedures and basic component adjustments. Basic troubleshooting procedures are also examined. After this two-day training session, operators will have gained the confidence and knowledge necessary to operate the HS Contiroll labeler effectively.
Maintenance training goes further in-depth with the rebuilding of the cutting drum and gripper cylinder, set up and timing adjustments, preventive maintenance and lubrication procedures. At the end of this course, participants will be able to check and correct all the important mechanical adjustments of the HS Contiroll with confidence and carry out effective troubleshooting. Maintenance training takes three days.
Electrical training consists of how to read Krones schematics and navigate the touch screens, along with detailed information on the bus system, remote and flex I/O, PLC program, encoder setup, hardware design, LCT3 function/menu/parameters, temperature controllers, Web drives and hands-on work with the servo-drives.
The advantages of training at our facility include: no downtime on customer equipment and a structured environment without distractions.
Krones HS Contiroll labeler training is available at a flat rate fee per eight-hour day. The electrical training program is one and one-half days. Fees include all materials, handouts and lunches. Please contact Frank Kaczmarski at 414-409-4580 or Donna Suminski at 414-409-4579 to schedule training today!
